The science of Forestry is a lot more than just the study of Botany. Forests are dynamic ecosystems, with numerous factors influencing their development. It is important to understand the cause and effect relationships that impact individual trees, as well as for community development and growth. Forest communities are precious natural resources that for example, support wildlife, influence water quality, and provide numerous marketable goods. Forest management is challenging work that requires a clear understanding of forestry dynamics.
